Join Vancouver Island Health Authority as a Community Occupational Therapist in a full time, temporary role that enhances patient-centered rehabilitation services across multiple sites. This position requires a degree in Occupational Therapy with active licensure in British Columbia and at least two years of relevant experience.
You will provide essential therapy services, working closely with both clients and caregivers to improve rehabilitation outcomes and community education on health interventions. Key Responsibilities:
Implement community-focused Occupational Therapy services
Offer consultations and support for clients and their caregivers
Provide training and educational resources to the community
Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal service delivery
Travel to multiple locations as necessary to meet client needs Requirements:
Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy
Current licensing with the College of Health and Care Specialists of BC
Minimum two years' experience in Occupational Therapy practice
Outstanding communication and organizational abilities
