The Policy, Legislation and Communications Division seeks a Manager of Policy to effectively lead policy functions and provide critical advice to the Minister and management.

You will guide a team while coordinating reviews and developing materials that inform decision-making processes. This term role offers the chance to make impactful contributions across diverse programs. Key Responsibilities:
Direct policy function management and coordination
Provide strategic insights to the Minister and senior leaders
Oversee the development of briefing materials and policies




Mentor and support a team of Senior Policy Advisors
Engage in negotiations with various sectors and stakeholders Requirements:
Completion of an undergraduate and graduate degree or law degree
At least 5 years of policy experience, with 2 years in related fields
Minimum 1 year supervising a team
Solid written and verbal communication expertise
Excellent analytic and problem-solving capabilities Engage with critical policy challenges and lead initiatives for the Government of the Northwest Territories.
