Join Hungry Zus as a Food Counter Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and productive operator behind the food service counter. This energetic role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer experiences by preparing and serving delicious food, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe workplace. Duties
Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently and accurately
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and making change
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
Follow all food safety protocols,



including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures

Experience
Previous food service experience in a quick-paced restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and safety standards
Experience in cashiering, serving, or front-of-house roles within a restaurant environment
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing simple calculations
Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is a plus
