We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated German Speaking Home Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and assistance to individuals in their own homes. As a vital part of our caregiving community, you will support clients with daily activities, health needs, and personal care, ensuring they maintain independence and dignity in a protected, comfortable setting.

Fluency in German is required to effectively communicate with clients and their families, fostering trust and understanding.

Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
Help with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety




Document care activities accurately and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors

Skills
Fluent in German with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments
Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, hospice care, and disability support
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
Robust caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to senior and disabled individuals
Familiarity with medication administration procedures and safety guidelines
Capable of handling household chores such as cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
