Duties
Safely operate forklifts, to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
Perform heavy lifting tasks to move inventory items with precision and care
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records accurately
Assist with order picking processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical functionality and safety compliance
Support warehouse organization by stacking, sorting, and storing products in designated areas
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a clean, secure work environment
Qualifications
Proven experience operating forklifts, and order pickers in a warehouse setting
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks
Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods
Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures
Basic computer skills to navigate warehouse management systems effectively
