We are representing a world class, multi-billion dollar industrial manufacturing organization that, due their continued growth, is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Manager. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this role will lead planning, materials, and logistics functions for a large, complex manufacturing site in West Michigan in addition to supporting other internal cost centers within North America. This is a permanent, direct-hire chance.

Primary Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the site's planning, materials, and logistics teams, with accountability for execution, performance, and talent development
- Own the master production scheduling process, ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and labor constraints
- Drive demand and capacity planning processes, balancing long-range forecasts with short-term execution needs
- Partner closely with Operations to address schedule attainment, throughput, bottlenecks, and production constraints
- Serve as the primary interface between customers, manufacturing, and internal stakeholders on delivery commitments and schedule changes




- Oversee inventory management strategies, including accuracy, turns, excess, and obsolescence reduction
- Develop and track key performance indicators including OTD, forecast accuracy, inventory metrics, and planning efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning discipline, process standardization, and waste reduction

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of supply chain, materials, or planning leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience owning or leading master scheduling and production planning functions
- Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and capacity planning principles
- Experience leading and developing teams in fast-paced, operationally complex environments
- Comfort working cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority
- Willingness and ability to travel (
