Discovery Dream Homes is looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer to join our production team!
This is a full time position working in our manufacturing facility, assisting with the production and preparation of our custom log and timber home packages.
Duties may include:
Assisting with general factory and production tasks
Handling, moving and organizing lumber and building materials
Operating basic hand and power tools
Assisting machine operators and other production staff
Measuring, cutting and preparing materials as required
Maintaining a clean, organized and secure work area
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Other general labour duties as required
What we're looking for:
Reliable, punctual and ready to work
Comfortable performing physical work and lifting building materials
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Solid attention to detail and willingness to learn
Previous factory, construction or woodworking experience is an asset, but not required
Forklift experience is an asset
Knowledge of building materials is an asset
