Job sites can be up to an hour commute from Peterborough. Travel benefits provided once traveling further out of town.
Kawartha ICF & Contracting Inc. is looking to hire an experienced labourer. Previous ICF experience is a benefit but not required. Specializing in ICF construction, framing, renovations, structural work, as well as finish trim work - the ideal candidate should have some background in these categories. Experience is a must.
Must have own hand tools, drill, and all necessary PPE as well as a valid G license and own transportation.
Requirements
Proven experience as a labourer in the construction industry
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Strong knowledge of construction techniques and methods
Ability to read blueprints and building plans
Excellent mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Valuable communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers- Ability to be given directions and work alone
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience.
