Join Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board as a Supervisor for Speech, Language, and Communication Services. Elevate student learning and engagement starting October 2026.
In this key position, you will report to the Manager, leading a dedicated team of Speech-Language Pathologists and Assistants to implement effective strategies for student communication and participation. This role focuses on ensuring high standards of practice, mentorship, and collaboration for an inclusive environment. A strong background in assessment, ethical practice, and team dynamics is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead clinical oversight and ensure adherence to CASLPO standards
• Facilitate staff development and continuous skilled improvement




• Monitor service delivery and student outcomes to enhance planning
• Implement effective MTSS frameworks across educational settings
• Serve as a resource for enhancing communication access
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Five years of experience in an educational setting preferred
• Proven leadership skills in service coordination
• Familiarity with AAC technologies
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in education
Contribute to driving success and well-being in communication at HWDSB.
