Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insulation Installer who specializes in poly installation for walls and ceilings. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, understands building codes and vapour barrier requirements, and works efficiently both independently and as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities:
Install polyethylene vapour barriers in walls and ceilings to a high standard of quality and air-tightness
Read work orders to determine job specifications
Prepare and clean work areas before installation
Ensure installations meet local building codes and safety standards
Work safely at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and site contacts

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience installing wall and ceiling poly (vapour barrier)
Knowledge of insulation systems and related building materials
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting




Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Familiarity with safety regulations and PPE requirements
Solid attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks

Assets (Preferred but Not Required):
Fall protection and WHMIS certification
Experience with other insulation materials (e.g., batt, blown-in, spray foam)
Own tools and safety gear
