Mine Maintenance General Supervisor (McClean Lake)Responsibilities:Responsible for developing, implementing, recording, evaluating, and improving the mine maintenance programResponsible for the development, and continuous improvement, of the present training programsMaintain and improve an effective preventative and predictive maintenance program and work order processPlan and organize maintenance work, for upcoming weeksAssist with short and long term planning, scheduling, and budgeting of departmental objectivesManage inventory and cost controlConduct investigations to evaluate or improve maintenance and warehouse inventoriesEnsure the safety of workers through education, awareness, and disciplineContinually improve and add value to the mine maintenance programEnsure that regulatory, licensing, permit, and company requirements are met promptlyEstablish a documentation system to measure performanceAssess maintenance from a technical viewpoint, document deficiencies, report findings,
and suggest improvementsSkills and Qualifications:Must have considerable maintenance experience in a similar roleSecondary education is required (degree, diploma, or certificate)Preference will be given to those with a Mechanical background5+ years of supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership capabilitiesExperience in Reliability based maintenance strategies, Operational Excellence, 5s, and Continuous ImprovementSAP knowledge and skill considered an assetWork Location & Schedule:McClean Lake Operations, Northern SaskatchewanFly-in/Fly-out operation with on-premise camp facilities7 day in/ 7 day out schedule.
