Empower Guelph’s wastewater operations as a Licensed Millwright, focusing on critical maintenance tasks in the Wastewater Services Division. This role offers a thorough approach to environmental service responsibilities. Working full time at the City of Guelph, you'll be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs of wastewater systems with an emphasis on safety compliance.
Candidates should have a minimum of four years in a related field. Your expertise will ensure the functionality of pumps, valves, and other vital equipment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct repairs and maintenance on wastewater machinery
Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures
Liaise with contractors during maintenance projects
Oversee maintenance databases and records
Ensure adherence to environmental compliance standards Requirements:
Completion of Grade 12 and 4 years of maintenance work
Industrial Maintenance Millwright Certificate (433A)
Valid Class G driver’s license required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
