Become an Early Years Music Educator at Pembina Trails School Division's Whyte Ridge School. Inspire musical creativity in young children using diverse teaching strategies.

This role is a 0.5 FTE term position effective from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026. You will teach music to early years students, applying Orff, Kodaly, or Jaques-Dalcroze approaches. The ideal candidate will model successful vocal and recorder techniques while using movement to support musical learning in alignment with the current K-8 Manitoba Music Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities: • Teach using Orff, Kodaly, or Jaques-Dalcroze approaches • Exhibit effective vocal and recorder modeling • Incorporate movement to support musical concepts • Provide music support for classroom teachers • Ensure compliance with Manitoba music education standards

Requirements: • Manitoba Permanent Teaching Certificate in PDF format • Completion of Commit 2 Kids or Respect in Schools • Knowledge of K-8 Manitoba Music Curriculum • Certification in music education methodologies • Ability to teach diverse music education strategies
