Are you passionate about dogs and providing exceptional care in a fun, professional environment? We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Dog Daycare & Overnight Attendant to join our team.

This role combines daytime daycare supervision with overnight boarding care, making it ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys building bonds with dogs, and values responsibility.

Schedule
Wednesday to Sunday
Daycare shifts during the day
Overnight shifts after daycare hours
Weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

Daycare Duties:
Supervise and monitor dogs to ensure safety and well-being
Engage dogs in playtime, enrichment, and exercise
Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary
Provide food, water, and medication as instructed
Maintain a clean and sanitary daycare workplace
Communicate with dog owners regarding behavior and daily activities
Assist with basic administrative tasks (scheduling, phone calls, payments)

Overnight Duties:
Supervise dogs after daycare closes (from 6:00 pm onward)
Sleep beside dogs in a home-style, family boarding room
Administer evening medications as required
Feed, walk, and provide water before bedtime and in the morning




Monitor dogs overnight for health or behavioral concerns
Clean and reset boarding and daycare areas
Report any concerns to management promptly

Qualifications
Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments
Comfortable working independently, especially overnight
Physical stamina (ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed)
Strong observation skills for health and behavior changes
Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a solid work ethic
Team-oriented with a genuine love for dogs

Additional Requirements
Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Toronto, ON M4T 1W1 before starting
Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
