Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains.
Create a protected, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are accessible and well-kept.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Utilize technology to support teaching practices, record student progress,



and communicate with families.

Qualifications *
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (registered) and a member in good standing with the College of ECE’s is preferred, or
Working knowledge of inclusive childcare environments
Working knowledge of the Ontario Early Learning Framework (OELF)
Understanding of the Child Care and Early Years Act
Ability to work as a team player and independently
Excellent communication skills; written, oral, listening and non-verbal
Solid organizational skills
Current First Aid & C.P.R.
