Macaulay Centres for Children invites applications for a Resource Consultant focused on early intervention for children with special needs in licensed child care settings. Engage in consultation, development, and coordination of effective inclusion programs. In this pivotal role, the Resource Consultant will work closely with child care staff and parents, providing guidance and educational resources to enhance the integration of children with special needs.

You will perform developmental screenings, facilitate training workshops, and advocate for necessary support and resources within the community. Key Responsibilities:
Implement inclusive plans for child care programs
Conduct assessments and document children’s development




Organize and deliver training for staff and families
Facilitate outreach to early years services
Maintain documentation and participate in agency initiatives Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
Minimum 2 years working with children with special needs
Proven ability to communicate across diverse communities
Experience in training adults effectively
Valid Ontario Driver’s license with vehicle access Contribute to positive change and inclusive practices at Macaulay Centres for Children.
