Shelter Nova Scotia is seeking a Social Worker to support guests in a 30-bed emergency shelter, promoting stability and humane care. Reporting to the House Manager, you will apply harm-reduction, trauma-informed approaches and guest-centered service to reduce shelter stays.
You will assess needs, coordinate case management, document interactions, and collaborate with community partners while maintaining confidentiality.
