About the job Quality Control Technician
We are looking for an intermediate QC inspector for our metal manufacturing client in Concord, ON.

Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other common instruments

Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings and specifications

Inspect parts to an established inspection test plan or sampling lot

Identify and report non-conformances using documented procedures

Knowledge of common mathematical concepts

Knowledge and understanding of basic quality terms, definitions and concepts

Basic understanding of measurement/metrology terminology and applications

Basic computer literacy

Preferred Qualifications (Helpful, but not required):





2 years working in a rapid paced production/manufacturing environment

Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems

Knowledge of calibration requirements/procedures

Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;)

First Article Inspection Reporting/PPAP-PSW Submissions

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite

Understanding of effective sampling (AQL, RQL)

Internal Auditing experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Can push, pull, or lift a minimum of 35lbs
