Duties
Engage with customers in a showroom setting to understand their window treatment needs and preferences
Conduct product demonstrations, including fabric samples, motorized blinds, and custom drapery options
Manage sales transactions efficiently using POS systems, including cash handling and account management
Upsell complementary products such as hardware, accessories, or upgraded fabrics to maximize sales opportunities
Provide expert guidance on renovation and construction projects involving window treatments
Develop strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and referrals
Experience
Proven experience in outside or inside sales within retail, home décor, or renovation sectors
Familiarity with merchandising, product demos, and high-end sales techniques
Solid negotiation skills to close sales effectively and upsell additional products
Background in construction or renovation projects enhances understanding of client needs
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts and appointments efficiently
