Responsibilities
Thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients for chefs and cooks
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, prep areas, and storage spaces throughout shifts
Support the cooking team by providing timely ingredients and ensuring smooth workflow during busy service hours
Follow all food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met
Dispose of waste properly and manage recycling to maintain an organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive,



effective, and hospitable kitchen atmosphere

Requirements
Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and safety regulations
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings
Willingness to learn current skills related to cooking, food safety, and hospitality standards
