Responsibilities
Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff during busy service times
Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
Organize and store clean items in designated areas for easy access by the kitchen team
Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment by disposing of waste properly and maintaining sanitary conditions
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during service hours
Requirements
Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers
Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized

Previous experience with kitchen or hotel operations is a plus but not required; training will be provided!
