Duties
Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques and equipment
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all kitchen tools are stored properly after cleaning
Assist with basic food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy service hours
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic work setting
Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring all dishware is ready for use during service




Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to promote sustainability practices within the restaurant
Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards that meet or exceed health regulations

Qualifications
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
Solid attention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or commercial cleaning tools is a plus but not mandatory
A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff
