We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays an important role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and is interested in learning more about restaurant and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and dishwashing area.
Ensure all equipment and work areas are cleaned and stored properly.
Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks when needed.
Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Restock kitchen supplies and assist with inventory organization as needed.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
Take out garbage and recycling and help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is an asset, but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting.
Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices is an asset.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
