Become a key player in student success as an Emotional Behavioural Specialist in the Edmonton Catholic School Division. As an Emotional Behavioural Specialist, you will provide crucial assessment and intervention services aimed at students with complex emotional needs.
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, you'll implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Your expertise will not only support students’ educational goals but also enhance overall wellbeing. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional assessments to determine behavioral needs
Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans for students
Coach staff on positive intervention strategies
Provide consultation to families and school staff
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for interventions Requirements:
Degree in Community Rehabilitation or related field
Three years of relevant experience in behavioral intervention
Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis principles
Solid communication and consultation skills
