We are seeking a mature, dedicated, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pet Bather/Nail trimmer. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and grooming services for our furry clients. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to work with animals and gain valuable experience in the pet care industry.
Duties
Bathe and groom pets according to client specifications, including brushing, shampooing, and drying
Trim nails, clean ears, and perform basic grooming tasks
Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
Assist with restraining pets during grooming procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services
Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects, including pets (up to 50 pounds)
Solid customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Patience and compassion when handling animals
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage time effectively
Qualifications:
Previous experience with working with animals, bathes and trimming nails
