Our decor and rentals division is seeking a reliable setup and takedown technician / decorator / general laborer. This individual would support with the setup of floral arrangements, backdrops and general labour related to decor and event setup.

Responsibilities
Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor (move chivari chairs, foldable banquet tables, small scale furniture, build backdrops, clean and store inventory)
Assist with loading and unloading of decor materials from van
Operate basic hand tools and equipment (push carts, dollys)

-setup drapery and decor for evets
Clean and maintain work areas

-Create floral arrangements as needed (including the cleaning and transportation of florals etc)
Follow safety guidelines and procedures
Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner

Skills:
Ability to lift objects 60 lbs +
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn




Valuable communication skills / Problem solving skills
Ability to work well in a team setting

Experience working at heights a plus Positive sense of design, style and experience in hospitality a plus.

Travel is required within Toronto, GTA, Brampton, Hamilton and Niagara therefore reliable transportation and license required.
