Fraser Health seeks a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated Hospice team at Delta Hospital. This role is integral to delivering compassionate and comprehensive patient care. You will work as a Relief LPN, providing nursing services until early 2028.
Under the guidance of the management team, you will assess patient needs, promote family involvement in care decisions, and maintain high standards of practice. This position offers a unique prospect to contribute to patient-centered care in a supportive setting. Key Responsibilities:
Perform holistic assessments of patient needs
Encourage family engagement in health care choices
Participate in care plan development and reviews
Ensure compliance with nursing policies and standards
Conduct equipment maintenance for protected patient care Requirements:
Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program
Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of full-scope nursing standards
