Advance your career with Cementation as a Construction Miner, located at the Island Gold project in Dubreuilville, Ontario. This role features 14/14 rotating shifts focused on safe underground operations. In this position, you will be responsible for various underground construction duties, including infrastructure maintenance and ventilation system installation.
You'll collaborate with a team that emphasizes safety and quality workmanship while fulfilling your responsibilities under the guidance of the Shift Boss. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in mining and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and construct underground infrastructure efficiently
- Apply shotcrete and manage construction materials
- Ensure effective airflow with ventilation systems
- Monitor ground conditions and conduct safety inspections
- Operate specified underground machinery Requirements:
- Completion of Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner certification
- Minimum of 2 years in underground construction
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices
