Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for mechanical issues and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, answering questions and providing excellent service
Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records throughout each shift
Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving stock,
organizing shipments, and preparing items for dispatch
Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries efficiently and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
