Join the Canadian Wildlife Federation as Senior Director of Species and Habitats, focusing on strategic leadership and conservation initiatives in a adaptable hybrid setting. This role requires a seasoned conservation qualified to guide programs aimed at protecting wildlife and habitats. Reporting to the Vice President, this Senior Director will leverage expertise in interdisciplinary collaboration while fostering relationships with Indigenous communities, industry partners, and other stakeholders.

Your influence will enhance CWF’s mission and expand conservation impact. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on conservation strategies and objectives
Supervise multi-year operational planning and budgets
Provide guidance for effective program delivery




Lead response to emerging conservation issues
Ensure compliance with strategic priorities and funding guidelines Requirements:
Master’s degree in ecology, biology, or similar fields
More than 10 years of conservation or environmental management experience
Over 5 years of leadership in energetic team environments
Capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively
Proficiency in budget management and reporting obligations Elevate conservation practices and drive meaningful change, ensuring a sustainable future for wildlife and habitats in Canada.
