Oversee UVic’s core technology infrastructure as Director of Core Technology Infrastructure. Ensure performance and reliability for data-intensive teaching and research services. In your strategic leadership role, you will provide operational oversight to enhance and secure the university’s technology framework.

This includes managing enterprise and hybrid cloud environments, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery. You will lead high-impact initiatives, develop infrastructure roadmaps, and cultivate a cooperative workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure reliability and integrity of technology infrastructure services
Provide strategic leadership in cybersecurity and data management
Lead infrastructure planning and evolution initiatives




Foster collaboration across infrastructure services teams
Develop long-term investment strategies and sustainability plans

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Significant experience in technology infrastructure leadership
Proven success in managing large-scale projects and budgets
Robust relationship-building and negotiation skills
