RAM Excavating Limited is a COR-certified civil construction company based in Quesnel, BC, with roots in the Cariboo going back to 1986. We build road and bridge infrastructure, municipal utilities, and site works for government, industrial, and commercial clients across Western Canada. We’re growing, and we hire people who take pride in doing the work right.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, skilled labourer who can work independently across concrete and civil scopes. Day to day you’ll be:
Forming, placing, and finishing sidewalks, curb & gutter, and flatwork
Fine grading and preparing subgrade/base for asphalt paving
Operating plate compactors, jumping jacks, and rollers to spec compaction
Grouting and concrete patching (structures, precast, culvert work)
Rough and finish carpentry — formwork, blocking, site-built structures
General site labour:



layout assistance, pipe bedding, cleanup, traffic setup

What You Bring
3+ years of civil or concrete construction experience
Proven ability forming and finishing concrete to spec
Understanding of grades, elevations, and reading a grade stake
Valid BC driver’s licence and reliable transportation (Class 5 minimum)
Physically fit for demanding outdoor work in all weather
Safety-first mindset — you’ll work under a COR-certified program

Nice to Have
Traffic Control (TCP) ticket
OFA Level 1 or higher
Experience on MoTI/highway projects
Ability to run small equipment (skid steer, mini-ex) a plus

What We Offer Pay: $30.00 per hour
