Support children and families at the Family Learning Place as a Monitor. This role focuses on protected, culturally respectful supervision of family visits and accurate observation documentation. The Monitor will be responsible for ensuring a secure workplace during family visits, promoting positive interactions. Applicants should have experience in human services, an understanding of trauma-informed approaches, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.

Oversee family visits ensuring safety and wellbeing of children
Facilitate respectful and supportive family interactions
Document detailed observations for internal and ministry records
Assist clients in accessing healthcare and social services
Manage crises calmly and develop safety plans Requirements:
Completion of Grade 12 or higher education in relevant fields
Background in working with families or children
Knowledge of intergenerational trauma and community issues
Excellent skills in communication and organization
