Become an Outreach Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Surrey, BC, offering essential support to adults in need. Facilitate access to housing and social services dynamically. This casual position requires the flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week, including overnights.
Outreach
Workers assist clients grappling with housing instability and other challenges, advocating for services and providing crisis interventions. You will channel your skills into actionable support for vulnerable individuals. Key Responsibilities:
Provide support and training for secure living
Help clients secure independent housing opportunities
Develop personalized action plans for client needs
Supply crisis intervention and financial management assistance
Document and maintain accurate records as required
Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in a related field d• Two years of related experience is preferable
Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certification
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and explicit record
Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector mandated
