The Assistant

Cook is key in ensuring meals are attractively served and cater to the specific dietary needs of residents. This role also includes maintaining safety standards and participating in special event planning for our seniors. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in meal preparation and serving for residents
Ensure adherence to food handling standards
Perform daily temperature checks for food storage
Accommodate therapeutic and specialty diets
Help develop menus for special occasions

Requirements:
Must have a Food Handler's Certificate
Experience in food preparation in healthcare settings
Familiar with food safety regulations
Physically fit to lift and transfer hot items
Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
