Duties
food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
prepare orders as directed
Handle food safety procedures diligently, including proper storage, handling, and temperature control of ingredients
Contribute to efficient restaurant operations by assisting with serving guests when needed and managing basic cashiering tasks using POS systems such as Micros POS
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in valuable working order and report any issues promptly
keep daily inventory and place grocery order
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential
Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or cash handling is a plus
Background in hospitality roles such as barista work, inventory, baking and following recipes.
Strong communication skills are vital for coordinating with team members and ensuring smooth operations
Prior experience in cleaning routines within a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous
Enthusiasm for learning new skills related to cooking, food presentation, and customer service will help you thrive in this role
Pay: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
