Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Catering Service Attendant to support food and beverage service aboard our excursion train. This position is responsible for operating the onboard service counter, assisting passengers with food and beverage purchases, preparing and stocking pre-made food items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming service area throughout each tour.Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $17.98The ideal candidate enjoys working with the public, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can provide friendly, efficient service while traveling on a moving train.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate the onboard catering counter during scheduled train excursionsGreet passengers and provide excellent customer serviceTake food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale systemServe pre-prepared food items and beveragesPrepare simple food items such as plating, heating, portioning,



or packaging as neededRestock inventory and monitor supply levels throughout tripsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of food service and storage areasFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesAssist with opening and closing duties before and after excursionsWork cooperatively with train crew and operations staff to ensure a positive guest experienceQualificationsCustomer service or food service experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, public-facing environmentComfortable working onboard a moving train for extended periodsStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds during shiftsObtain or be willing to receive a Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve qualificationAdditional InformationNo cash handling requiredAll food items are pre-preparedFlexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and special events may be requiredUniform or dress code may applyWork EnvironmentThis position works onboard a tourist or excursion train and involves direct interaction with passengers in a agile hospitality setting.
