We are seeking 2 content technician/content laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to support management and team members both on-site and in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Inventorying, packaging and restoring items exposed to water, fire, wind, etc. for insurance related claims.
Perform content pack-outs and pack-backs for insurance claims.
Driving to and from claims to pick up dry cleaning, contents, furniture, etc.
Identifying, removing, packing, labelling, cleaning, and safely returning contents and furniture to their claim address.
Must be capable of lifting 50lbs with help.
Maintain a clean and protected work workplace.
Must be able to sustain long periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
Be able to identify contents that are salvageable versus non-salvageable.
Skills:
Experience working in restoration/insurance is considered an asset.
Attention to detail is required.
Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player.
Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
Class G driver's license is mandatory.
IICRC certification is an asset.
Encircle experience is an asset.
Basic technology skills are required to work with our documentation program, Encircle.
Warehouse experience is considered an asset.
Note:
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm.
There are times we work later than 4 pm to complete a claim.
You may be asked to work 1 day out of the weekend.
Experience in contents restoration is an asset.
