We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while managing transactions and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess robust organizational skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus, answering any questions they may have about the offerings.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured for kitchen preparation.
Process transactions using the cash register, handling cash and credit card payments with precision.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and cashier station throughout the shift.
Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Conduct product demos when necessary, showcasing menu items to entice customers.
Provide assistance to customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and address any customer concerns promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Robust organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
Familiarity with cashiering duties, including cash handling and transaction processing.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Experience in sales or technical sales is a plus, particularly in upselling products or services.
