Become a pivotal member of the Child and Family Services team in Fort McMurray as a Community Outreach Navigator. You will act as the key point of contact, helping identify needs and connecting individuals to essential services.
Your role supports early intervention and fosters protective factors to perk children, youth, and families in the community. Key Responsibilities:
Build trustworthy relationships within Member Nations
Serve as the first contact for individuals seeking support
Facilitate connections to health services and resources
Participate in cultural activities and community initiatives
Maintain a welcoming outreach space for community members Requirements:
Diploma or degree in related fields
Minimum two years of outreach or community support experience
Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and community protocols
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
