You'll be responsible for planning instructional classes, performing water rescues, and conducting pool area maintenance. Accurate record-keeping for class participation and student progress is essential for the role. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise pools, splash pad, and deck areas
Conduct swim classes according to lesson plans
Perform rescue operations and first aid as needed
Maintain protected and tidy pool environments
Track attendance and issue progress reports Requirements:
Certification in Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED
National Lifeguard (NL) Pool qualification
Swim Instructor course completion (NLS preferred)
Punctual attendance and solid organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with students Support swimming skill development at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club while ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants.
