The HydroVac Operator is accountable for operating and maintaining machinery and will be involved in labour type functions on a construction project.Accountabilities IncludeOperation of HydroVac Truck in a secure and professional mannerInterpretation of plans, diagrams, and utility locatesAccurate and timely completion of workAdherence to Health and Safety standardsEffectively communicate with team members and Management on preparation and project coordinationProficient in filling out documentation (daily work orders and tailboards)Proactively report any project delays or issues to SupervisorDaily safety inspection of all equipment and toolsObserve equipment maintenance schedule and advise Supervisor when repairs requiredPerform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.Qualifications And Work ExperienceMinimum 2-years' experience working on a HydroVac TruckBook 7 understanding or certification (will provided training)Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license with a clean driver's record.
