About the Role
We are looking for a Carpenter’s Helper to join our construction team. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn the residential construction industry,
and is interested in developing their skills alongside experienced carpenters.
What You’ll Do
Assist carpenters with day-to-day construction tasks
Help with measuring, cutting, assembling and installing building materials
Load,
unload and move materials and tools as required
Prepare, clean and maintain safe work areas
Use basic hand and power tools safely
Participate in safety and production meetings
Follow site safety requirements and instructions
Support the construction team wherever needed
What We’re Looking For
Dependable, motivated and willing to learn
Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on work
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of carpentry or construction is an asset
Able to provide basic tools and PPE as required
Valid driver’s licence, reliable transportation and a good driving record
Available to work a 44-hour work week
