Experienced Carpenter / Level 3 Apprentice – Framing Focus

Keddy Contracting is looking for an experienced Level 3 Apprentice to Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter to join our team, with a strong focus on residential framing.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a framing site, can work independently, and takes pride in producing quality work efficiently.

Responsibilities
Residential framing and structural carpentry
Wall, floor and roof framing
Reading and interpreting building plans
Layout and measuring
Installing doors and windows
General carpentry and renovations
Working efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
Keeping the jobsite clean, organized and secure
Working independently with minimal supervision

Requirements
Level 3 Apprentice through Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter
Robust residential framing experience
Able to read plans and perform accurate layout




Comfortable working independently
Good problem-solving skills
Own basic hand tools
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Position Details Position: Level 3 Apprentice – Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter

Focus: Residential framing

Location: Yorkton and surrounding area

Hours: Full-time

Start: Hiring will begin in early to mid September

Wage: Competitive and based on experience and qualifications.

There is an prospect for consistent, long-term work with Keddy Contracting for the right person.
