Rocky Mtn Chocolate is seeking experienced Candy Chefs for our Head Office & Robson Street Locations. We are looking for individuals who are as passionate about creating hand made products as they are about quality.
We are looking for Full-Time positions but could have Part time for the right candidate.
Duties and requirements
Producing chocolate, fudge, caramel apples and other RMCF products in confectionary.
Cleaning and prepping off food items.
Must be able to lift heavy items of up to 50lbs.
Must be able to stand on feet all shift.
This job requires you to work with a gas cooking kettle - this is hot and can be somewhat dangerous (protective eqiptment is provided).
Qualifications: · Professional and outgoing personality
Commitment to quality and efficiency.
Knowledge of Food Safe guidelines or provide a certificate.
Self starter and independent.
Previous production experience an asset.
Demonstrate optimism, integrity and honesty.
Ability to take direction.
Sustain a clean and proper cooking area
Comfortable with heavy lifting.
Previous experience in cooking or baking in a working workplace.
Eagerly adapts to feedback and any opportunities for improvement
Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts within hours of operations
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
