Job Summary

West Coast Car Carriers is growing and seeking experienced class 1 driver professionals for long haul transportation services.

Based out of the Fraser Valley, we specialize in hauling classics, sports, muscle and exotic cars. We also haul non-running project cars, trucks and SUVs. We transport within Canada and runs would include various locations from British Columbia to Eastern Canada.

Duties
Safely drive and deliver vehicles in enclosed or open carrier trailers to various destinations
Complete deliveries in a timely and safe manner
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving
Provide excellent customer service during client interactions

-Safely load and unload client vehicles and effectively secure vehicles to trailer for transport

Experience

Valid class 1 license required
5 years minimum driving experience with a clean driving record
No criminal record
Proven experience driving in mountain conditions, including driving in snow and chaining up
Legal to work in Canada
Speak, read and write in explicit English
Knowledge of billing of lading, logbooks, conducting pre-trips




Must be willing to do occasional long hauls which would include going as far as Nova Scotia
Must know how to operate passenger vehicles with a manual transmission

In addition to the above requirements, we are seeking a skilled who is a car enthusiast and has a true passion and knowledge of cars Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a similar role. This would include experience in car hauling, securing vehicles for transport

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
