Contribute to assembling air units and parts at Nortek. This assembler role focuses on mechanical and electrical assembly while adhering to safety and quality specifications.
Under the supervision of the Manager and manufacturing team, you will assemble mechanical and electrical systems into complete units. Precision is key, as you will be calibrating and repairing units to meet required tolerances. This active role requires the use of tools and may involve working at heights with appropriate safety gear.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and specifications accurately for assembly
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assemble and adjust mechanical units to meet specifications
• Maintain a clean and orderly work workplace
• Support Lean Business initiatives and process improvements
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of assembly or construction experience
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Proficient in using mechanical tools
• Must lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
