Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit card payments, and food handling with integrity and attention to detail
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed




Follow all food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Requirements
Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and food preparation enhances your effectiveness in this role
Experience with Micros POS or similar cash register systems is advantageous
Robust time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail throughout shifts
