About the Role The Bookkeeper will coordinate all aspects of accounting, including processing journal entries, maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and using accounting software to manage company finances.

Day-to-day tasks include regular reporting on financial performance to company leadership, oversight of receivables, payables, and other financial functions, and month-end processing. The Bookkeeper will also be responsible for certain administrative & human resources functions, including oversight of bi-weekly payroll and administering employees' advantages coverage.

Key Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end accounting tasks.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll, GST/PST remittances, and T4 slips.




Prepare customer invoices and coordinate shipping documentation.
Support customs documentation, office administration, and production teams.
Maintain supplies, assist with filing and scanning, help coordinate meetings and occasional company events.

Qualifications
3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software
Experience with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and BC sales taxes.
Experience with payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
