Duties
Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies
Conduct account analysis to monitor financial performance and prepare detailed reports for management
Assist with payroll processing by ensuring correct employee compensation and tax deductions
Reconcile accounts through detailed review of transactions, invoices, and statements
Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and assisting in financial planning efforts
Requirements
Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, receivable, and account reconciliation
Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze accounts accurately
Ability to perform bank reconciliations efficiently and identify discrepancies promptly
Basic understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards
Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is highly preferred
